Who we are

The Front Office (“TFO”, “we”) is a fantasy basketball analytics and decision-support product. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It describes our current product; it is a baseline policy and is not a substitute for formal legal advice.

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address, display name, and team name, plus authentication data needed to keep your account secure. We use this to operate your account and provide the service.

Connected fantasy-platform data (read-only)

You may connect a fantasy platform (such as Yahoo Fantasy or Sleeper). These integrations are read-only: we read your leagues, teams, rosters, matchups, and related league state to generate analytics and recommendations. The Front Office does not set lineups, make add/drops, submit waivers, propose trades, or make draft picks on your behalf. You always execute decisions yourself on the fantasy platform.

Fantasy data is provided by the respective platforms (for example, Yahoo Fantasy). Those platforms are separate services with their own terms and privacy policies, and they do not endorse TFO.

OAuth access & encrypted credential storage

Where a platform uses OAuth (such as Yahoo), you authorize access on the platform’s own login screen — we never see or store your platform password. The access and refresh tokens we receive are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to read your league data. We do not sell fantasy credentials or tokens, and we do not share them with third parties for their own use.

How we use your data

We use your account and connected-league data to provide fantasy analytics, projections, and recommendations, to operate and improve the product, and to keep it secure. We also collect basic application-usage information to understand feature usage and diagnose issues.

Disconnecting & deletion

You can disconnect a connected platform at any time from Settings → Integrations, which revokes and removes the stored tokens for that platform. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Third-party services

We rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers (for hosting, data, and platform integrations) to run TFO. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption of provider credentials at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
